Add Your Own Mac Keyboard Shortcuts

Mac only: Keyboard shortcuts are the bee’s knees for getting things done quickly, but sometimes there’s no keyboard shortcut for a command you use often. Let’s fix that, shall we?

Abhijeet Wankhade’s blogpost shows how to add Mac keyboard shortcuts for Sketch, and the instructions with pics are easy to follow. Note: The same process can be used for other apps, too.

On my Macbook, I added ‘^+H’ to Sketch for its “Show Selection Handles” command and added ‘⌘+E’ to Pixelmator for its “Export…” command. And boy, I feel relieved that those annoyances are gone! (Yes, I’m a nerd.) Check out the link to start saving more time.
