In this week’s post, Git and WordPress are coming together like ham and cheese (yummy!). I recently came across a series of videos by WordCamp speaker Amelia Briscoe showing how to set up Git’s awesome version control with WordPress.
On her website, she published an entire video series of it; and you can also watch most of them on YouTube. She shows how to get things started on Bitbucket, grab a tweaked WordPress installation file that works well with Git, and shares pointers on things to be aware of. If you’re already dabbling in Git and know some coding in WordPress, this can be a great resource for you to build your future WP websites with Git goodness.
